By incorporating the downloadable video instructor’s guide with the five Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care DVDs (Introduction to Alzheimer’s Disease; Communicating with Residents Who Have Alzheimer’s; Wandering; Resisting Care and Agitation), caregivers will receive additional instruction and gain a more thorough understanding of the changes resulting from Alzheimer’s disease, the various stages of Alzheimer’s, how to assist a wandering resident, how to respond to difficult resident behaviors, the possible sources of agitation and how to create positive interactions.
