GHCA, a non-profit which includes assisted living, has advocated for Georgia’s elderly since 1953. They strive to improve the ability of its members in providing quality care by offering educational seminars and administrator training courses.
Since 1994, the WALA has worked tirelessly to promote excellence in assisted living. They offer resources to support quality initiatives as well as courses for administrators and a variety of educational seminars to help meet training requirements.
Founded in 1999 to serve various senior living options, MCAL’s focus has been to advance excellence in senior care. This is achieved through advocacy as well as educational programs including the Certified Assisted Living Director (CALD) course.
Beginning April 1, 2018, all NAB approved NCERS providers will be required to report credit to the CE registry. If credit is reported directly to the registry, a certificate of course completion will be auto generated. Prior to mandatory reporting by NCERS providers, licensees will be able to manually enter your NCERS earned CEs into your record to assure a complete CE portfolio.
The NAB approval code will be needed to enter the course manually. Administrators must register for NAB ID no later than April 1, 2018 to continue to receive CE certificates from NCERS sponsors. For additional information go to www.nabweb.org.
