PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Using these three Activities of Daily Living DVDs (Bathing; Mouth Care, Grooming and Dressing; and Eating, Drinking, Toileting, and Transferring), caregivers will receive additional instruction and gain a more thorough understanding of providing proper cleanliness and competent assistance with bathing, preserving dignity, providing guided choices, observing changes, and taking appropriate safety precautions. In addition, participants will learn how creative care-giving accommodates the unique needs of each individual in the areas of mouth care, grooming, and dressing; how to assist those with varying degrees of ability; how to provide aid to residents at mealtimes; the proper steps to take when toileting, and correct body mechanics and methods for transferring.

DVD Run Times:

  • Bathing – 10 minutes
  • Mouth Care, Grooming, Dressing-11 minutes
  • Eating, Drinking, Toileting and Transferring – 11 minutes
