SeniorLivingU collects personally identifiable information when you register for an SLU account and when you use certain SeniorLivingU products and services. SLU may also receive personally identifiable information from its resellers and other business partners. SeniorLivingU does not offer services or knowingly sell products to children. SLU does not request or knowingly collect personally identifiable contact information from anyone under the age of 13.

Therefore, it is recommended that you log out of your account and close your browser window when you have finished using a shared computer and otherwise safeguard the password used to access the SeniorLivingU website and services.

The Fair Information Practices and Principles have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the world. To be in compliance with the Fair Information Practices and Principles, should a data breach occur, SLU will notify within seven (7) business days: registered users via email and site visitors via in-site notification.

SeniorLivingU does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. SLU has implemented Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting to better understand the traffic our website receives. Google’s advertising requirements can be summed up by Google’s Advertising Policies. They are put in place to provide a positive experience for users.

Therefore, SLU has no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, SeniorLivinigU seeks to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
To comply with CalOPPA SeniorLivingU agrees that:
- Users can visit our site anonymously.
- Users are able to change their personal information by logging into their account.
Additionally, SLU honors “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals and does not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a DNT browser mechanism is in place.
