Caregiver

Using manual, DVD and in-service formats, Senior Living University caregiver educational materials review basics including what assisted living is, resident rights, and the caregiver’s role in assisted living.  Caregivers also learn about: proper procedures for assisting with activities of daily living,  how to care for residents with dementia, the rights of medication management,  back safety,  reporting and recording medical changes, infection control, reducing resident falls,  customer service the effects of aging on the body, and fire safety.
